Facing a dressing room mirror, Jean Lambert-wild is about to transform into his clown, this white-faced double he first impersonated to perform his Calentures, then to play famous characters such as Lucky in Waiting for Godot or Shakespeare's Richard III. Makeup, costume, body language alteration, voice transformation will definitely be part of the process, but how does a clown emerge from a performer? What kind of ghosts does he summon? Why does an artist turn into this changeling to perform on stage when the transformation is accomplished? The audience is invited to witness this metamorphosis, both intimate, poetical, and spectacular.
